Mercy Chefs Assists Communities Impacted by California Wildfires

LOS ANGELES, CA — Director of Logistics Nick Beckman joined CNN’s Lynda Kinkade to discuss the urgent need in Los Angeles County following the wildfires in Southern California.

Within 24 hours of being on the ground, Mercy Chefs served its first meals to wildfire victims and first responders, providing nourishment and hope in a time of crisis.

Mercy Chefs’ team on the ground worked diligently to establish partnerships with local churches and organizations to ensure relief reached the areas of highest need.

Mercy Chefs was featured in CNN’s “How to Help” article on CNN Impact Your World, which showcases organizations making a difference in disaster recovery. Additionally, the nonprofit was highlighted in a segment on CNN’s Podcast with Julia Chatterley.
