Beef & Potato Skillet Dinner
This quick and easy skillet dinner features seasoned ground beef and potatoes for a hearty, flavorful meal.
Ingredients
- 1 lb of ground beef
- 1⅓ cups of water
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced (try russet, sweet, or yellow)
- 4 tbsps of Herbs de Mercy Chefs
- ½ cup of dried milk
- Salt to taste
Instructions
Step 1:
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
Step 2:
Add the water, potato slices, seasoning, and dried milk to the skillet. Stir to combine.
Step 3:
Bring to a boil; then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 20–30 minutes until potatoes are fork tender.
Step 4:
Uncover and continue cooking to evaporate any excess liquid.
Step 5:
Taste and season with salt as needed.
Step 6:
Refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours.
Optional: Add chopped veggies like onions, carrots, or peas during the last 5–10 minutes of cooking. Serve with hot sauce or top with shredded cheese.
