Support Hospital Patients in Uganda
In northern Uganda, one hospital once treated patients who often starved before they could recover. Mercy Chefs Global stepped in to provide hot meals daily—not just for the malnourished infant ward, but for the entire hospital. Death rates have dropped significantly, and staff now extend groceries to the nearby elderly, multiplying the impact of every gift.
Donations will support the purpose above, or the area of greatest need if funds exceed what is required for that purpose. Mercy Chefs is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and your donation is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
In Kaabong, Uganda, Mercy Chefs is feeding a 400-bed hospital where food was once scarce. Before meals were available, families often abandoned the sick and elderly at the gates, unable to care for them. Today, with hot meals served twice a day, patients are no longer left alone. Families stay together, providing comfort and care while hospital staff focus on medical treatment.
This food has also brought strength to mothers, many of whom were once too weak to feed or care for their children. Now, with consistent nourishment and the introduction of our baby formula program, they can nurture their babies and remain by their loved ones’ side through recovery.
As Pastor Samuel, our partner in Kaabong, shares: “There is quite an improvement with patients since we started. Death has decreased significantly…We are really grateful for this program.”
Your gift sustains this life-saving work, keeping families whole and hope alive.
