Claremore Tornado Response
A vicious tornado struck Claremore, OK, in the middle of the night on May 26, causing widespread devastation in Green Country. Strong winds demolished structures, uprooted trees, downed power lines, and blocked access to several roads. Two fatalities have been confirmed, dozens are injured, and thousands of homes lost power.
Mercy Chefs swiftly mobilized a team to begin providing hot meals within 24 hours of the storm’s initial strike.
