Classic Tuna & Noodle Casserole
Ingredients
- 2 cups noodles
- 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- ½ cup milk
- 2 cans tuna in water, drained
- ½ cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1 cup potato chips, coarsely crushed
- Spice to taste (salt, pepper, Cajun seasoning)
- Optional: ½ cup frozen peas
- Optional: chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
Step 1:
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Step 2:
Grease a 1 ½ quart casserole dish; set aside.
Step 3:
Cook the noodles according to package in a large pot of salted boiling water, just until al dente (about 5-6 minutes). Drain.

Step 4:
In a large bowl, whisk together condensed soup and milk. Gently stir in the cooked noodles, tuna, and peas (if using). Taste and season with salt and pepper, if necessary. Can also add Mercy Chefs Cajun Joy or another Cajun seasoning during this step.
Step 5:
Transfer mixture to prepared dish. Sprinkle cheese on top then add crushed potato chips.
Step 6:
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until top is golden brown and inside is hot and bubbly.
