Dallas Windstorm Response

On the evening of May 28, powerful storms with hurricane-force winds and heavy rains swept across Dallas and North Texas, leaving a trail of damage and widespread power outages. This is the third major strike to hit Texas in May, prompting Dallas County Judge Clay Lewis Jenkins to sign a disaster declaration. The National Weather Service issued numerous storm warnings in the coming days. In response, Mercy Chefs swiftly established a base for emergency relief operations at our community kitchen in Dallas. We are working with Iglesia Cuidad de Esperanza to deliver hot, nutritious meals to those impacted by the storms.

Please pray for the millions of people affected by these relentless storms. To stay up-to-date on our disaster response and how you can help, follow us on social media (@MercyChefs).
