Feeding Program Updates
There are millions of refugees in Iraq, with more coming into the country every day. Of these, 90% of them are Syrians who are looking for a peaceful life away from war, terrorism, and religious persecution. These refugees are in massive camps where they must stay at all times for safety reasons. Oftentimes, these refugee camps have 30,000+ people living in a two-square-mile radius.
Mercy Chefs began feeding Syrian refugees in Iraqi Kurdistan in January 2025 in anticipation of even more people entering the country seeking asylum. Stay updated on our global relief efforts by following us on Facebook and Instagram (@MercyChefs).
