A powerful 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck Southeast Asia on March 28, 2025, leaving widespread devastation. In Myanmar, thousands of lives have been lost, and communication remains nearly impossible. Mercy Chefs is actively serving in the region, where we’ve been working alongside trusted partners for over two years. We’re expanding feeding operations and delivering meals to those in greatest need, bringing nourishment, comfort, and a sense of normalcy in the midst of crisis.

Our Global team has had the honor of serving hot meals and groceries to earthquake survivors in Mandalay. With love stirred into every dish, our chefs cooked alongside local partners using open flames and woks—far from our usual kitchens, but with the same heart.
As Chef Chris puts it: “Just to see their smile, you know, and knowing that they have a full belly tonight—just makes it all worth it.”
