Waverly, TN Flood Response

As much as 17 inches of rain fell on Middle Tennessee causing unexpected flash flooding that left many dead and dozens more still missing. It happened in minutes and people had no time to react. The images are shocking and the stories we’ve already heard are heartbreaking. This is a critical situation.

Mercy Chefs’ Nashville Community Kitchen team responded immediately bringing hot meals to the flood zone. Our response is expanding with our chef team, one of our mobile kitchens, and support resources arriving. We are on the ground and coming in to support the shelters in the surrounding areas at the center of this disaster and feeding first responders.

Please join us as we pray for the families facing this shocking, unimaginable loss as we provide them comfort and hope through a hot meal. #FeedingBodyAndSoul
